Product Summary

This model permits the practical training at a lateral position simulating actual treatment.
We aim to learn techniques that allow for accurate insertion using a system that matches the patient’s posture.
Since the skin is made of special material , it is possible to learn in a more realistic environment.
The iliac crest (iliac spine), great trochanter, and ischial tuberosity are incorporated in the model.
The trainees can practice palpating, and the green light turns on and a chime sounds when the needle is inserted to the correct point facilitating easy self-practice.
Even beginners can practice easily.

Practice

1[Method 1] Posterior superior iliac spine-greater trochanteric line.

Insertion hole: Determine the midpoint between the posterior superior iliac spine and the greater trochanter, and find the insertion point 3 cm below this midpoint at a right angle.

2[Method 2] Ichial tuberosity-greater trochanter line.

Insertion hole: Connect the greater trochanter and ischial tuberosity, and make a hole at a point 1/3 from the ischial tuberosity side.

3 Acupuncture insertion

You can practice insertion while lying on your side.
